Hasnain is a terrific prospect and I'm delighted to be supporting him at the Northern Finals of the Powerglide English u14s championships later this month at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.
I can't take the credit for his wonderful cue action, but in the short space of time we've worked together, his enthusiasm has shone through. He's now a keen member of the Junior Academy at Kings and is rapidly ticking off the exercises in the WPBSA's "White to Black" programme.
Hasnain is just 12 years old, so to reach the finals at such a young age is a tremendous achievement. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action against the best juniors from across the north.
It promises to be a fantastic day of high-quality snooker, and we're all rooting for him to do well.
